  1. Fear of the dark

If you have fear of the dark you could have this phobia called Nyctophobia. According to Wikipedia it is a phobia characterized by a severe fear of the dark. It is triggered by the brain’s disfigured perception of what would, or could happen when in a dark environment. It can also be temporarily triggered if the mind is unsteady or scared about recent events or ideas, or a partaking in content the brain considers a threat (examples could include indulging in horror content, witnessing vulgar actions, or having linked dark environments to prior events or ideas that disturb the mind). Normally, since humans are not nocturnal by nature, humans are usually a bit more cautious or alert at night than in the day, since the dark is a vastly different environment.

  1. Fear of Blood

Are you fear in blood? This is a phobia called homophobia, Wikipedia said that blood phobia is often caused by direct or vicarious trauma in childhood or adolescence. Though some have suggested a possible genetic link, a study of twins suggests that social learning and traumatic events, rather than genetics, is of greater significance. Accordingly, painful experiences can condition fear to blood-injury stimuli. Investigators typically classify around 60% of self-reported onsets of blood-injury phobia as beginning with conditioning experiences.

  1. Fear of Spiders.

Are you afraid of those cute little hairy spiders? Well, there is also a phobia called Arachnophobia. People with arachnophobia tend to feel uneasy in any area they believe could harbor spiders or that has visible signs of their presence, such as webs. If arachnophobics see a spider, they may not enter the general vicinity until they have overcome the panic attack that is often associated with their phobia. Some people scream, cry, have emotional outbursts, experience trouble breathing, sweat have heart palpitations, or even faint when they come in contact with an area near spiders or their webs. In some extreme cases, even a picture or a realistic drawing of a spider can trigger intense fear.

  1. Fear of Sea

Do you feel uneasy every time you swim in the openness of the sea? Thalassophobia (fear of unknown) can include fear of being in large bodies of water, fear of the vast emptiness of the sea, and fear of distance from land. It can also include fear of the unknown, of what lurks beneath. You have fear because you don’t know what is in it.

  1. Fear of needles

According to Wikipedia Fear of needles, known in medical literature as needle phobia, is the extreme fear of medical procedure involving injections or hypodermic needles.

It is occasionally referred to as aichmophobia or belonephobia, although these terms may also refer to a more general fear of sharply pointed objects. It has also been referred to as trypanophobia, although the origin and proper usage of that term is highly controversial.
